How exciting! Your bunny is coming home in just a few days. Here are some things you might want to consider purchasing or have in your home before welcoming your bunny home. Note: Nugget and Tutu are free-roaming bunnies, so the list provided below may differ a bit depending on how you plan to house your bunny.

A litter box or pan. I recommend this litter box here. Can be purchased on Amazon. To control odor, I recommend using wood shavings or wood pellets below the grate. I clean Nugget's litter box once a day, and deep clean it using white vinegar and water once a week.
Rug(s). This is especially necessary if your house has hard-wood flooring. Friendly note that some rugs can be harsher on their feet than others. You may want to keep an eye on their feet to see if there is any abrasion over time.
Hair brush. I recommend the kind that has rubber lining, so that it catches fur more efficiently, such as this one here. Can be purchased on Amazon.
Some type of comfortable bed that is in a darker place.
Hay box.
Unlimited hay. You can switch these around, but Nugget has had timothy hay, orchard hay, or hay blends.
Pellets and water. Nugget is quite the picky bunny. His favorite pellets are from Modesto.
Fresh Vegetables. Because of how fragile a bunny's digestive system can be, I chose to only feed Nugget organic vegetables. Of course this isn't a must, but I wanted to be extra careful. My go-to guide on what bunnies can eat can be found here.
Small bowls (pellets, water, and vegetables). Make sure to clean the water bowls regularly, because it can grow bacteria or biofilm (which is harmful to your bunny!)
Chew toys. In case you didn't already know, bunnies love to chew on... almost everything. Give them a source of endless chewing by providing some chew toys.
Love, love, and more love! Because rabbits are naturally prey animals, they are naturally timid towards... everything. It may take a while for your bunny to trust you, so show him/her some love and be patient!
